Banana Bread

1 1/2 C. sugar
3 mashed bananas
1 1/2 sticks of butter
1/4 + 1/8 C. milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
3 C. flour
3/4 C. nuts (optional)
1 1/2 tsp. soda
3/4 tsp. salt
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease (not oil) bottom only of loaf pans. In large bowl, blend first six ingredients; beat 1 minute at medium spped. Stir in remaining ingredients just until dry ingredients are moistened. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake at 350 deg F. for 50 – 60 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 5 minutes, remove from pan. Cool completely.
Pasta Fagilo Soup

Ham bone
2 C. chopped ham
2-3 carrots, chopped
1 lb. radiatore noodles
1-19 oz. can white kidney beans ( Cannellini)
1-28 oz. Marinara sauce
8 qt. water with soup base or chicken boullion cubes added
fresh parsley
fresh basil
Hot Sausage Dip

Ingredients:
2 lb. Velveeta cheese
2 lb. lean sausage – fried and crumbled
1 lg can evaporated milk (9-12 oz.)
1 pkg dry garlic salad dressing mix (packet). Dry Italian Dressing can be substituted, just add garlic salt.
Tobasco to taste
Pimiento (a large jar 4-6 oz)
Melt the cheese over low heat, add milk, then well drained sausage and seasonings. Serve in chafing dish or crock pot with Fritos or tortilla chips.
